The people who make all this possible
Brett Arnold
President
“Howdy! My name is Brett Arnold, and I am the sitting President of Aggie Lemons Racing! In this role, it is my job to manage the organization without losing focus on what our values are (Having fun, wrenching, and building friendships). I am responsible for overseeing all other officers, subteam leads, and members within the organization.
A little bit about myself, I am a Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology major here at Texas A&M University! I have several vehicles, but the coolest one is my 1965 Mustang GT (which I am just trying to keep on the road). I am always happy to talk to people, so never hesitate to reach out or stop and talk to me if you see me around!”
Elise Robinson
Vice President
“As VP, most of my job is just the miscellaneous, behind-the-scenes tasks that keep the organization running smoothly, like registering for events and making meeting slides and notes. I also serve as backup help for our president and the other officers!
I’m a junior Interdisciplinary Engineering student specializing in Automotive Engineering and minoring in Electrical. I drive a 2013 Scion FR-S named Fish that I got from a sketchy ad on Facebook Marketplace.”
Ethan Johnson
Treasurer
“I manage the finances for our Texas A&M 24 Hours of Lemons race team, overseeing budgeting, spending, and compliance with university regulations. I run our merchandise store from end to end: from sourcing parts and gear to handling sales and inventory. I also handle insurance paperwork and help guide the growth of our leadership team. My role blends financial strategy with a hands-on passion for grassroots motorsports.
I am a Mechanical Engineering Major, Class of 2026. I've been a part of racing for most of my life, starting with racing go-karts as a young kid and now working with the grassroots racing team at Texas A&M. My goal after graduation is to work in the automotive industry, developing innovative technologies that push performance, reliability, and efficiency, whether on the track or in production vehicles. I’m especially drawn to motorsports engineering, but I’m also excited by the broader challenges in vehicle design, manufacturing, and sustainability. Wherever I end up, I want to be part of the teams driving the future of mobility forward.”
Paige Malone
Public Relations
“My job is to secure all the sponsors for the team, and organize all the social events. I was born a people person, so this is a dream role for me!
I’m a physics and education major, class of 2027. My dream car is a Honda Del Sol! I think it is the Miata’s cousin, just better (don’t hate me). I started on the electrical subteam and, after a year, became an officer. My favorite lemons memory is our 24 Hours of Lemons Race in 2024, my first-ever race!”
Jake Adams
Head of Engineering
“As Head of Engineering, I have a hands-on role, including overseeing and creating specific roadmaps for each race car, scheduling workdays, organizing sub-teams, ordering parts, and staying continuously knowledgeable about everything related to our vehicles.
I am an Industrial Distribution Major at Texas A&M, class of 2026. I am obsessed with vintage go-karts. I will most likely have a different project cart each week.”
Michael Scheid
Head of Media
“As Head of Media, I’m responsible for all things media, including our website, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. I make sure all the exciting action is captured on film and shared for everyone to see, keeping Aggie Lemons Racing visible in the motorsports world.
I am a sophomore majoring in University Studies — Biomedical Sciences concentration, and I’m pursuing minors in Entrepreneurship and Bioinformatics. I’ve been building a 1991 Toyota MR2, which I often take to the track, and also create custom parts for.”
